Our Glamping site is a rural retreat set within 20 acres of farm, woodland and paddocks. It is located next to the river Ceint which is easily accessible with an abundance of wildlife. Try and spot a red squirrel!! The bell tents sit at the bottom of the field divided up by willow hedges with a well established vegetable patch full of fresh vegetables all grown by Penny and Malcolm.
We welcome families, couples or groups looking to book for a break away in the heart of Anglesey, and is the perfect way to experience countryside camping offering comfort and convenience.
Each bell tent sleeps up to 4 guests, with a double bed and 2 single futons. The tents are fitted with cosy log burning stoves for those chillier nights, along with toasty hot water bottles and extra blankets. Each tent is equipped with a 2 hob gas stove and all the appliances for a functioning kitchen like home from home. There is plenty of space outside to sit and enjoy the views. With no light pollution, Dyffryn is the perfect place to sit back at night and star gaze. Guests are greeted with a little welcome pack and the essentials for a continental breakfast.
As we are trying to keep Dyffryn sustainable we do not have electric in the tents. However, there are electric sockets in the shower/toilet block and there are solar lights in the tents we also provide torches.
There is a large communal fire pit with a BBQ grill and cooking pots for those wanting to cook under the stars and sit around the campfire on those chilly evenings.
The shared shower/toilet block is located at the top of the vegetable patch and is a minute walk from the tents, with lovely hot power showers and access to a washing machine if needed. The block is well equipped and has electric plug-in points for hair dryers and phones. There is also a communal kitchen station with an oven, fridge/freezer and pot washing facilities.
The Glamping site is a car-free zone, we have designated parking areas for visitors and provide you with a wheelbarrow each on arrival for you to use while you stay with us. We are always at hand to help with heavier items and Malcolm is the resident porter!!
